Designation Programs

Central Insurance School offers courses in five different designation programs, three of which Waive the State Exam for the respective State license.  The designation programs offered through Central Insurance School are:
 

PCSR - Professional Customer Service Representative

Waives the State Exam in Florida
A highly recognized State designation including insurance education in topics such as automobile, homeowners, property, liability, workers compensation, marine, and umbrella coverages.  A portion of the program is dedicated to agency operations and the professional skills to benefit the insured.

PCA - Professional Claims Adjuster

Waives the State Exam in Florida for 5-20 and 6-20 Licenses
In partnership with the Professional Career Institute, we offer the PCA designation.  This adjusting program is directed to coverage knowledge in personal and commercial lines.  Adjusting techniques such as: claims handling; reporting procedures; procuring a statement from the claiment; and contract format are covered.

PIAM - Professional in Insurance Account Management       (Advanced Designation)

Also in conjunction with the Professional Career Institute, we offer the PIAM designation.  This advanced designation program examines the procedures for RATING through formulas and physical rating exercises.  In addition, this program explores UNDERWRITING information, assisting in completing the appropriate Acord applications, binders, and other forms for issuing a policy.  Special focus is given to "Errors and Omissions" prevention.

CPII - Certified Professional in Insurance       (Advanced Designation)

Also in conjunction with the Professional Career Institute, we offer the CPII designation.  This advanced designation program consists of five parts - Property, Liability, Residential Risk, Automobile, and Specialty Lines.   This designation provides a link between exclusions or limitations and the endorsements necessary to cover the risk.

The designation is designed to provide the insurance professional with the tools and knowledge necessary to analyze the risk and determine what is endorsements are needed as a solution to any coverage gaps.

CPSR - Certified Professional Service Representative

Waives the State Exam in Florida
