Advanced Designation Programs

PIAM - Professional in Insurance Account Management
The PIAM is an insurance industry Advanced Designation Program sponsored by the Professional Career Institute.  The PIAM designation consists of seven modules:
  • Commercial Automobile
  • Commercial Ceneral Liability, Employment Liability, and Umbrella Liability
  • Commercial Property, Businessowner's Policies, Crime, Inland Marine, and Business Income
  • Workers' Compensation
  • Residential Properties
  • Personal Automobile
  • Agency Procedures, Systems, and Communication
Each module examines in detail Standard Policies and Submissions, Underwriting, Risk Analysis, and Errors and Ommissions concerns.

Upon successful completion of the exams at the end of each of the seven modules, you earn the PIAM designation.   Earning the PIAM designation allows you to display the designation after your name on business cards and business correspondence.

To ensure that high standards are maintained by all designee’s, Professional Career Institute, through Central Insurance School, will provide advanced classes for updates and changes.   The designation update requirement includes seven (7) hours continuing education every two (2) years.

CPII is sponsored by the Professional Career Institute
The CPII is an insurance industry Advanced Designation Program sponsored by the Professional Career Institute.  The CPII designation consists of five modules:
  • Automobile
  • Commercial Property
  • Commercial General Liability
  • Residential Property
  • Specialty Lines
Each 7-hour module examines in detail Eligibility, Loss Exposures, Policy Design, and Endorsements.

Upon successful completion of the five modules, you earn the CPII designation, which allows you to display the designation after your name on business cards and business correspondence.

The CPII designation has an update requirement - you must complete seven (7) hours continuing education every two (2) years.
