Course Description: This state designation assists in obtaining a (CSR) 4-40 license for the State of Florida and waives the state exam. (FLDFS Authority Line PL4444). Throughout the course, the student will be exposed to topics, covering various aspects of the Property and Casualty industry (i.e. Residential and Commercial property, auto, etc.). The course is strictly online-text reading and copyright protected (no audio, video, webinar, or book). There is an opportunity to ask questions by selecting the “Ask Question” button with a response from a qualified instructor within 12-24 hours. The candidate will read the course material, taking the mandatory chapter quizzes which do not count towards final course grade. After finishing the course material and quizzes, the candidate will be ready to take the course final exam, two (2) attempts, passing with a 70% to earn the PCSR designation and exemption from state exam. (Note: After the 2nd failed attempt, the program will prompt you to call the school to speak with one of the administrative team members to discuss your failed two attempts and release you for the third (3rd) and final test. If you do not pass the 3rd exam, the course will be closed and you will need to re-register, pay, and retake the program). Upon completion of the program and earning the designation, the candidate is exempt from the state exam and may at that time complete the online applications for the license and fingerprinting (financial and criminal background check) with the appropriate vendors approved by the Florida Department of Insurance. The candidates’ final grade will be electronically submitted to the state by the school.
