Commercial Account Manager

We are a local independent agency in Tampa that is seeking a full-time commercial lines account manager. Our ideal candidate should display meticulous accuracy, have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, and be comfortable with working within deadline restraints. The candidate will need to be able to effectively evaluate renewals, counsel and advise on coverage, as well as identify new business opportunities when handling day-to-day workload.

Responsibilities:
• Work the commercial lines renewals daily by remarketing, amending, or rewriting policies to fit the insureds needs based on the market.
• Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, endorsements, and sales requests within a specific timeframe.
• Input all details into the client management system and set follow-ups.
• Secure all trailing documents from the insured and provide any necessary documentation to the companies and insureds.
• Present and explain insurance policy options and coverage to the insureds.
• Handle coverage and claim questions from the insureds.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements for all commercial lines’ insurance products.
• Handle incoming calls from the customers and return phone calls in a timely manner


Requirements:
• Active Florida 220 License preferred, or 440 license
• 3+ Years commercial insurance experience
• Experience with customer service, working with clients and brokers
• Fluent with Applied EPIC software is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite of products
• Knowledge with standard and E&S markets
