About the Job:
You will lead our personal lines team. You will be of service and support to the retention business for the agency. You possess excellent decision making and problem-solving skills necessary to grow and retain our client base as well as uncover solutions to challenging situations that will arise with the carriers and clients. You will also work with our management team to develop and implement successful strategies, programs and processes.
You will be responsible to manage, lead, evaluate, appraise, reward, discipline and coach the existing team. In addition, you will participate in the hiring process and onboarding of new team members.
Qualifications:
• 2-20 Property and Casualty License in the state of Florida is required
• Minimum of 3 years managerial experience is required
• Minimum of 5 years of personal lines experience is required
• High school diploma is required
• Thorough understanding of personal lines underwriting and insurance coverage is required and you will be tested
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be computer literate and know how to type
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft products, AMS and CRM systems
