Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do you hold classes?
A: At our main campus, 10468 Roosevelt Blvd N, St Petersburg, FL 33716. Classes can be attended via Classroom or Webinar. In addition, we occasionally hold classes online and at various locations across Florida, depending on the course. See our course schedule for a location near you. All classroom and webinar courses start and end in Eastern time (EST/EDT).
Q: If I have a criminal history, can I still get a Florida Insurance License?
A: A past criminal history does not necessarily mean you cannot obtain a license. The nature of the offense and how long ago it occurred are considered. You can check here for more information on the Department's website. You can also call the Department at (850) 413-3137 and speak with someone about your specific situation.
Q: I have an upcoming webinar. How does it work?.
A: The training platform allows you to join directly from your internet browser. On the morning of the course, you will log into the Central Insurance School website. On your Scheduled Courses tab, you will click on Go To Course next to the course you are attending.

If you are given a choice on how to watch the webinar, choose "Join from this browser." This is the easiest option.
If presented with the choice, choose "Join as a guest."
