What Can I Do With a Life and Health License?
The Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities Agent license allows an individual to transact contracts for Life Insurance, fixed-dollar annuity contracts, or variable annuity contracts offered by the same insurer. This license also allows the individual to transact Health Insurance. This license has a pre-qualification course requirement. We offer this course in both a classroom and online course environments. (To sell Variable Annuities an individual must also obtain a Series 6 Securities or Series 7 Stock Broker's license.)

Florida 2-40 Health License?
Central Insurance School is Florida's principal training choice for the Health License. Our Qualification Course is offered in a two formats - classroom and online.
These programs are Florida Department of Financial Services approved pre-licensing courses for the 2-14, 2-15, and 2-40 licenses. All three courses use the State Life/Health/Annuities Manual. The manual is included in the price of the classroom course, and paid separately in the online courses. There is a final exam given at the end of each course, which must be passed with a score of 70% or higher. Each license requires the license applicant to pass a State license exam.

Successfully complete the appropriate Pre-Licensing Qualification Program.

Complete an online application for License and submit the appropriate fees.

Be a natural person at least 18 years of age

Be a resident of the state of Florida

Be a United States citizen or legal alien who possesses a work
authorization from the United States Immigration and Naturalization
Services

Be fingerprinted at one of the Department's fingerprint sites
Fingerprint locations and additional information.

If licensed in another state within three years, provide a Letter
of Clearance.

Not be an employee of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or state service office, as referred to in Section 626.833, Florida Statutes.
