Job Description
We need someone for our Mail Room to support operations, accounting, and claims. The Mail Room / Scan Clerk will:
• Open mail and research in system to locate correct claim.
• Route electronic faxes and emails to the correct claim.
• Scan mail/faxes to correct claim and folder.
• Print, log and send all correspondence sent through central print.
• Log in checks and route to Accounting.
• Log in Fed-Ex/UPS on arrival in system and route packages to correct claim/employee.
• Keep title/legal log current.
• Operate PB postage machine and process outgoing mail.
• Operate folder/stuffer and Canon copiers.

Qualification Requirements
• Basic Computer Knowledge – Microsoft Outlook.
• Document scanning experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• The ability to:
o work within a fast-paced environment
o stand for long periods of time
o lift approximately 45 pounds
o bend, kneel and stoop without difficulty

Work with customer and carriers to resolve their problem or satisfy their need
Process endorsements
Process payments and assist with other financial issues pertaining to the insurance policy
Process insured requested cancellations
Work to avoid and resolve company cancellations and non-renewals
Order reports when needed
Respond and satisfy carrier requests within required timeframe
Stay up-to-date on carrier products and requirements
Stay up-to-date on Insure-Link policies and procedures

Education & Experience:

Florida 440 insurance license – Required
3 or more years of Property and Casualty insurance experience
3 or more years of agency sales or service experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
