In the Central Insurance School Virtual Campus, courses are presented on your computer in a number of virtual classrooms.
This means you can access your course from wherever you happen to be; the office, at home, an Internet coffee shop... Anywhere.
In the Virtual Campus, courses are presented in three different formats:
- Webinar Courses
- Online Video Courses
- Online Text Courses

Webinars |
These courses are presented in a true virtual classroom. A webinar is broadcast at a set date and time (normally corresponding to the date and time of a classroom course.)
Webinars include video presentations of the course material and audio of the live instructor through your computer speakers. Some longer courses (like the CPSR webinar) also include simulcast video of the instructor.
You can ask questions of the instructor through an interactive chat (text) process.
No exam is required for webinar courses.

Video |
These courses are video archives of webinar courses. The online-video course
includes video presentation of the course material and recorded audio of the
instructor.
Online-Video courses can be taken at any time that is convenient for you. The course can be taken all at one time, or across a number of sessions.
You can ask questions of an instructor and receive a reply within 3 business days. You generally have 30 days from registration/payment to complete the course.
Online-Video courses require a test at the end of the course.
